We've been hanging around the house quite a bit, since I'm still recovering from my surgery. I'm not supposed to lift anything heavy- tough doctor's orders when you have a 20 lb 7 month old! Luckily, we had a ton of help this week. My mom thought Ben was big enough to drive this fire truck and (with a little support) he is.
Sophia had fun pretending they were both firefighters. She had a fire crew visit her preschool this week and learned how to crawl away from smoke and stop, drop and roll. They practiced this in her classroom, and she's been practicing at home. While she was rolling, we asked her when she would do that. Instead of saying something like "when there's a fire," Sophia, in all her almost-three-year-old-wisdom answered "now."
