Camping in the Backyard
We want Sophia to get used to camping (she's been a few times, the last being a one night trip to the Laguna Mountains with Jake when he was on paternity leave). I don't want to take Ben until he's really walking. We told Sophia she could camp in the backyard. She had a fun evening: popping popcorn with dad, playing Candyland, reading books, staying up a little later than usual.

I hope that she was able to have access to the inside "facilities"! Backyard camping is great if you don't take it to extremes. Not like your camping in Boundary Waters.
