Thanks to Nana, Jake and I went to Palm Springs area for a night! One highlight was the amaznig tram up to Mt. San Jacinto State Park. You rise from 2000 to over 8500 feet in10 minutes in an 85-passenger car that rotates 360 degrees. We got a backcountry hiking permit, but were not prepared for over a foot of snow on the trail. We hiked to the snow and then turned around.
