Sophia and I saw "The Nutcracker" with some of our Wednesday playgroup moms. It was so much fun to have some mom/Sophia time and to go to a theater in beautiful Balboa Park. Sophia was a little scared of the larger-than-her nutcracker in this picture.
She sat in my lap and Peace had his own chair during the whole 2 hour performance. She seemed to enjoy it. She told me later the first party scene (when the kids got presents) was the best part. I was trying to explain the Sugarplum Fairy and the candy dances, but that just led to requests for candy.
