We went to LA this past Monday with my parents and brother John to visit my dad's aunt, Sr. Robert Joseph. She's Ben and Sophia's great great aunt! She's a Sister of St. Joseph of Carondelet and she lives at the motherhouse for her province in Brentwood. We had a great visit with Sr. and some of her friends and the nuns loved seeing Sophia and Ben. Sister RJ is one of the sweetest people I've ever met. When we were kids, she came to San Diego yearly and we'd play tons of card games, especially "2 in the bush." We didn't have time for cards this visit, but I hope to make it up to LA to see her again soon.
