So we've finished the first few phases of yard work over the past few months. Today we finally planted new plants and installed a pathway in the side yard. We put in water friendly plants (Mexican Sage, Kangaroo Paws, Red Salvia, Agave, Lavender, Philodendron, Fountain Grass, etc). We also moved some palms from the front yard to the back yard. Over by the clothesline, we put in gazanias as a ground cover. We had flagstone laid on decomposed granite over by the fruit trees to (hopefully) create a fairly maintenance free side yard.
