So Sophia has some new "words:" the sound ck for car (usually said with vigor so it's more like CK!) and beep beep (what the car does when we lock and unlock doors). She is still showing signs of being an engineer and she loves to play with the car seat or stroller buckles. Another big interest is shoes... putting them on, taking them off, putting them on other people's feet, etc.
She's also really into coloring. She sometimes says "dot dot" when she makes crayon marks on paper. Today we did some coloring and finger paints for the first time. Other than running her hands through her hair, she didn't get as messy as I anticipated. She enjoyed this new medium. Here's some pictures:
