Sophia's resemblance to Charlie Bucket (from the Gene Wilder version of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory) was getting pretty bad. And all that hair in her eyes has probably been annoying her. So this evening, I took her to a salon for kids-- they had a ton of toys, a special hair cutting highchair, and a drape that fit. It took about 3 minutes for the stylist to trim Sophia's bangs and a few ends that were much longer. Sophia did not really enjoy the experience (see the pictures), but I think she's happy to have all that hair out of her eyes. We got a cute certificate and the stylist made sure to save all the hair she cut. In fact, the stylist made it look so easy, I just might try to cut her hair myself next time...

Yeah, surely you don't need a specialist to cut baby hair? I cut yours when you were a baby!
ReplyDeleteThat certificate is cute! I should've saved Mad's hair...or at least taken a picture!
ReplyDeleteThe thing is Ray . . . we wanted to keep some of her hair on her head.
